Greetings and thanks for stopping by. I’m happy that you visited! Here’s a little information about me.

My name is Kate. I’ve been called a “recipe freak,” and it’s true. I love to talk about food, to experiment with recipes and to COOK! I have no formal culinary training, but I am a hopeless kitchen haunt and have worked in many (including my own everyday!) I’ve cooked and baked all my life. When I was in college I got a summer job at a gourmet shop. There, I learned a ton about food preparation, ingredients and some techniques. I’ve catered events for friends and I’m addicted to food magazines.

I hope you’ll join me often for some good conversation about recipes, ingredients, kitchen gadgets and whatever else comes up!

In addition, about 3 years ago I became a mom (number 2 arrives in September), so now my passion has a new outlet–feeding a picky toddler. Once in a while I’ll give some tips and tricks I’ve learned as a mom for helping feed the young ones. More on parenting can be found at my mommy blog www.peepingmoms.blogspot.com.
